Over the past 20 years there have been many ways of achieving weight loss, maintaining weight loss goals and increasing muscle mass. Health and fitness is one of the largest markets in the world. Everyone wants the answer on how to loose weight. The secret is that there is no one answer. True weight loss is a combination of what you eat, what you do, and how your body reacts to it all.
Dr. Eriksen’s goal is to help patients understand the combination that will best fit each patient and work for them. This plan depends on where the patients’ level of fitness is at when they start and what plan of action they have to take to achieve their goals. The patient has to become proactive in their health. There is no magic pill, calorie count, or type of diet that work alone. Dr. Eriksen will guide each patient along their own path of wellness, fitness and nutrition goals.
Results will vary depending on the patients current health, and our program may not work for everyone. As with all health related lifestyle changes, check with your personal physician first before starting a new diet or exercise program. A healthy start to weightloss is being safe and informed.
